1.8 T Wiring Harness Diagram – I am looking to build a connector assembly that will fit between the C15 and C200 connectors on my 15 year old. It’s at the back of the truck where the wires to the taillights connect to the main chassis harness, at pin eight.

A local full service junkyard had a 2006 or 2007 engine and transmission, does anyone know if the C15 and C200 connectors are the same on the two trucks?

Note that this is not a tow connector, this is a standard tail, bend, brake and reverse light connector.

I think it will be anything from 2005 and up. You can download the 2006 service manual and check the wiring diagram to see if it uses the same connector. Factory service manuals can be downloaded from the Nico Club website (Google it).

I tried to compare them, but they changed FSM formatting between 2006 and 2015. It’s slower than I expected.

This is an old school method where the car is missing some kind of support line on the back of the truck. This connects the wire from the body control module and the end run to the two sets of tails. They include all model years 2005-2017 and all Suzuki Equator models that use this part.

So it looks like if I can get the last 6″ of the BCM connector and the first 6″ of the connector on the brakes/bends/ends, I can make the part I want.

BTW, I went to my local dealer and they only sell complete harness parts, not repair parts. This is annoying.

I went to the junkyard on Wednesday and found some stuff, including harness connectors that were cut off using an extra 6″ of wire. Since no one posted clear, large pictures of these harness connectors, I thought I’d grab some.

The C15 and C200 connectors seem to be the same on all Frontiers. The truck was a 2007 high trim package (the SL? had a metal front bumper but no tailgate) and was the same size as my 2015 SV.

That’s all good, but I don’t have the purple wire on the 2006 border connector

I have a pigtail that goes from the body to the trailer connector, but it is cut off. Still trying to find the wiring diagram but there is no purple wire in the trailer connector. fsm is also confusing. I have red, white, green, brown, black and yellow wire colors on the trailer connector side, the body side is solid. Most strings are really small, like 16 gauge.

Also, I may add an aftermarket rear bumper at some point. I want it without turning on the lights again. You also plan to add light to the bed, under the canopy, or under the shade. It can apply constant 12V to the trailer harness if it stays on even when the key is off.

Click to expand… Mine is not connected to the 7 pin connector yet. I’m going to buy an adapter to test and have someone use different bulbs and test until I get the correct pinout.

Clicking on the More Info button will take you to the PDF download link and will automatically download and open a 246 page PDF file with all the connectors and pinouts used by Nissan in their vehicles. The first 220 pages show each terminal connector and pin classification, tool number and terminal connector termination. At the end of the 246 page PDF file (like the last 20-30 pages) it has a quick reference section that shows all the connectors and their corresponding terminals… so you can compare and contrast your connector and terminal and determine what the model and part number is 2001 I bought a Passat year old and I cut the factory wires. I have a problem with the color chart because there are a lot of brown threads and one of the thick ones I found to be thick, I see that the brown one is also twisted. Figuring out which one fits with that is difficult for me. I have brown and green, brown and red, brown and yellow, brown and blue. There are thick red and blue wires. confused like that

Same with your 2001 or 2001.5 (facelift, 1pc headlights). Depending on where the cut is, what engine do you have?

You still haven’t said which 2001 you have. Old B5 body type with 2 lamps/indicator or single B5.5 lamps.

All you have to do is buy a reverse harness to put it back together and install it with a new adapter harness. I hate it when idiots turn it off to try and save $10 on the plug! The picture below will get you there most of the time. You need a multimeter to check the power cord with the ignition key on or off. You probably blew a fuse on the constant 12V+. However, I used these images from google. You can do it too. It’s faster than asking and waiting for an answer.

One point to note – when wiring a new car radio (I think that’s the purpose, not to return the wiring to stock and plug it in aftermarket?), don’t use the jumper wire that “amps” the car. cables. This is not an amplifier circuit – this is a diagnostic connection line.
