Weird GM GEO: Geotracker 8v (only) ECU refers to A as pin B, but Suzuki refers to the opposite letter, so change the name to match. A1 = B1 etc. as required.

Suzuki has been selling 8v and 16 valve cars since 1992. (Geo 16v in California in 1994 and all states in 1995)

I do not recommend breaking the safety devices or DRL systems, which are found in most GMs.

What you do is your business and DRL is not mandatory in the US. (But in a civil court, anything goes!)

Geo Tracker No Crank No Start After Clutch Replacement

In 1997 (and ’98) Suzuki moved the TCM to the PCM/ECU with a different connector, number and pinout. (I don’t) but alldata.com does.

Suzuki moved many relays in this generation, some to the right of the heater box. (main relay and fuel pump relay 2)

The MPI EFI, coil on spark plug (COPS) and DOHC chain (2 cams) and MAF now run in the bowels of the throttle body.

These COP parts cannot be mixed. If you try to run a COP 98 with a 97 igniter, there will be a 180 degree turn and the COPS will burn slowly. My son’s tracker was running fine when the spring in the clutch broke. We pulled the engine, replaced the clutch and pressure plate, put the engine back in and it wouldn’t start or start. I don’t think there is any installation or disconnection. I searched the forums and checked every fuse, relay, cable etc and it was blocked. I’ve printed out various wiring diagrams but I can’t find the starter circuit diagram. It still won’t turn with the key, but I can ignore the solenoid and crank it like crazy. Everything works fine including power supply to coils, pump, injectors etc. But still no cranks with keys and no spark. The red and black wires on the clutch neutral switch don’t seem to be getting power, but I can’t see where the red and black wires go. If anyone knows how this works or has a wiring diagram for the starter circuit, I would really appreciate your link or advice.

How To Disable Spark And Fuel On ’91 Sidekick?

I assume it’s a Tracker 95 from your signature and it’s a manual transmission. A black/red wire runs from the ignition switch to the main harness connector to the fuse panel on the left side of the steering column under the dash. Then it comes to a switch on the top of the bottom plate (the top of the clutch pedal pushes this switch to activate it). The switch’s pinout is black/yellow – it’s wired together so one feed goes to the starter and the other to the ECU ground. Have you tried pressing the switch on the floor when you turn the key?

I’ve been chasing this thing for 2-3 days and found more schematics than the start/invoice page you provided. I went back to it this afternoon and started testing every wire and discovered my silly mistake about an hour later. I’ve been doing this for over 75 years and you’re never too old to learn. Today I learned that in a low light area, working without glasses, it is impossible to tell the difference between a yellow wire with a black line and a yellow wire with a blue line. I wired the yellow/black solenoid to the front temp sensor and over the starter and the yellow/blue sensor wire to the starter. He begins by killing them.

Glad you solved the problem. Yes, old wiring colors can be deceiving. I’m more interested in what you suggest for over 75s? ? ? seriously? The math in my head is a bit crazy – either you start doing this as a baby or…..??????

Nellibel is not very reliable, so if we want to drive, we need to learn how to fix it. After 2 or 3 years they traded Nellibel to a cousin of the Indian chief who beat the 39 year old.
