2004 Dodge Ram Tail Light Wiring Diagram

2004 Dodge Ram Tail Light Wiring Diagram – So I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the last cables from Retroshop and promised JJ that when he got the new adapters I would write a review for those interested in installing the set.

Remove the two screws on the inside of the truck bed with a T25 screwdriver. Note: If you have a liftgate assist, you must remove it before accessing the bottom screw.

Connect the new taillight adapters to the OEM pigtails Connect the new tail light connector to the OEM taillight connector, making sure the red wire on the adapter connector is connected to the OEM taillight connector. Because the new adapter makes the OEM pigtail longer, I took all the wires and put them behind the wall as shown in the picture.

Find the place where you want to connect the resistor. Since this resistor is a bit large and gets hot when turned on, I decided to put it on the fender of the truck and away from all wires and tail lights. You need to enter two holes here. One for connecting the resistor to the truck and one for the ground wire on the resistor.

Connect the plug of the resistor to the end plug of the adapter, then connect the wires to the back of the wall where the backlight is attached.

Then pass the LED light connector with the adapter through the hole in the bottom of the frame and connect it to the back light.

Install the new lights on the truck and reinstall the screws to secure them

Note: These taillights use a different type of reverse light. So if you used LED reverse lights on your previous rear lights, they will not fit the new lights. Here is a picture of the new reverse light. I think it’s 7440.

So I have a ’97 RAM and want to install LEDs, but keep the factory lenses. This type is the same wiring method. Oh and the terrible Om with lightning. I would like to add some words up front. Is there a way to add headlights? I want them to be illuminated with marker lights

I’m sure there are places that will replace most of the factory installed LED modules, but those will cost a pretty penny. I’m sorry I won’t be able to help.

Led & Bliss Tail Light Wiring Diagram?

The resistor is only there to prevent the turn signal from flashing. You only need one resistor for each tail light. It doesn’t matter what year your truck is. Trucks 13 and 14 which did not come with LED tails have the same livery as 09 10 11 and 12. This process was done in 12 days

You can use LED reverse lighting. You will need to replace the current bulb with a 4770 LED bulb Among all the other trucks the 194’s are too small and don’t work

There are 2 types of adapters (please order for your year): 09-12 style – comes with 1 resistor – used to display HyperFlash ’13+. Click to expand… 13+ New Electronics Out,

Thanks for the explanation BlackRamHemi, I don’t like electrical work. No matter what security measures I take, something always tries to stop me.

Wiring For Trailer Lights

As for LEDs, the current bulb size for LED tails is 4770, so you won’t have any problems. By rooting the error or whatever. I don’t have an Evic in my truck so I don’t know for sure.

New codes on a new truck aren’t always fun, but I really hate uncontrolled tail output.

Peak strength seems to be $5 to $5 to $20 a piece. I’m trying to figure out what to do with the stock junk in terms of brightness

VTBighorn says: What do you drive specifically for backup lights? The maximum strength will appear to be $5 each from $5 to $20. I’m trying to figure out what this has to do with general rubbish about lighting. Click to expand… I’ll run regular bulbs.

This is an old thread, you may not get a reply and may revive an old thread Consider creating a new thread. I’m new here so my first post… I have an ’02 Ram 1500 that I used a few weeks ago. I have problem with left turn signal and parking light/tail light. Right turn signal/brake lights work well front and rear with lights off. The left turn signal usually flashes forward when the lights are off. In the back, the left turn signal works as it should, but the parking/brake lights also come on (dim light) and the license plate light on the bumper comes on. When the vehicle/taillights are on, the taillights will flash as described (same as the hazard lights but the left turn signal is still on and the brake/bumper lights are also on). On the front left side (when the light is on), the signal part of the bulb is constantly on (whether the signal is on or not). The parking light bulb (unclear component) never illuminates the left front light.

Reverse Light Wire

So I suspect the problem is from the left side. I checked the signal relays and they are fine. I have checked the bulbs and they are fine. I used a simple ammeter (a probe with a light bulb) to test the contacts in the lower fuse box. All the problems were the same in the fuse box as I saw the real light. Any suggestions on where else to go?

I’ve seen this happen when the bulb’s stop/rotate wire breaks and touches the parking light bulb. Try changing the lights to the left.

Sorry I said it wrong in my first post, it’s the right side that has the problem, not the left side. I replaced the bulbs (all 3) in the right tail light and still have the same problem. The front right turn signal is also new. This is how I noticed that when I used my right turn signal, all the lights dimmed. no help

My brother went this route with his 2006 Ram. 2002 – 2006 same lights. Replace the circuit board that holds the lights and your problem is over. These assemblies are notorious for getting moisture inside and losing the floor track. You cannot edit it because it is a confirmed meeting. Part number 55077343. Left and right have the same number. If you can afford them, replace both because they both fail at the same time.

I also read about this problem (tail light board) and tried changing them to see if anything changed (like if it did, I doubt the indicators would change, but they are exactly the same.

I also think it’s a floor problem. Mainly because when I turn on the right turn signal, all the lights dim (brake light, parking light, left turn light.
