Kubota Zg124e Wiring Diagram

Kubota Zg124e Wiring Diagram – The neighbor has a ZG124E that we can’t turn on. Looks like we’re chasing goblins in the electrical system. It started last year and we have been troubleshooting down to the parking brake switch. After replacing the mower, the mower runs fine and starts every time.

Fast forward. I sat in the seat, flipped the ignition switch and heard the relays click and send 12 volts to the solenoid. The battery is fully charged and there are twelve voltages at the battery terminal of the solenoid. I held the key to start and tried a seemingly normal adjustment to pull the brake lever.

It started last year and we have been troubleshooting down to the handbrake switch. Here is a list of parts that have been replaced so far. 1. Solenoid 2. Brake switch 3. Switch gear checked. 1. ALL FUSES 2. BATTERY VOLTAGE 3. VOLTAGE AT SOLENOID (KEY IN START POSITION) 4. WHEEL TURNS I GET OUT WHEN CABINETS GO IN AND OUT. Our suggestion is a faulty seat switch. Thanks for your help Click to expand… You can clarify the problem. Engine cranks and won’t start or crank. I guess it won’t be copied.

There is a small wire on the starter motor solenoid that is a signal for the starter motor to engage.

Connect the Azone clip to the battery ground and then connect the pointed end to the terminal on the solenoid where the small wire is attached.

If all security keys are satisfied when you turn the keyswitch to start, the test light should come on.

Try it and report back. Replacing parts in the hope that they will fix the problem is always expensive and less successful.

Trace and picture the battery ground cable where it connects to the tractor frame or engine block.

You’ll get a lot of help on this forum, but you’re willing to do the testing and post the requested images.

Check the voltage at the starter (large wire) and see if it drops during cranking. It could be a faulty battery or a battery with a battery or frame connection. If you get a good 12 volts at the solenoid and starter and it doesn’t turn, you have a problem with the starter.

Thanks for the information up to this point. I am pulling my hair out with this project! So far our troubleshooting is more detailed.

1. We replaced the brake switch last year. The connection is loose and the switch does not connect all the time.

2. Replace starter solenoid. You have 12v from the battery and 12v to the two small terminals. It won’t fire the launcher unless you skip the previous two posts. A new solenoid from Autozone fixed that problem.

The mower was very good all summer. We have been cold for three days below 25 degrees. Now it won’t respond to the caster. I replaced the battery with a good one that we bought for the other mower. This did not change the response of the mower.

Two small terminals at the base of the solenoid – 12v on both when the key is turned to the START position

2. Confirmed seat switch operation by measuring continuity. The outer poles showed continuity when the input switch was pressed. The inside of the post shows continuity when the switch is pressed. The switch is turned back on and the voltage is measured. 12V at the switch.

4. The solenoid always shows 12v on the battery cable, 12v on the two small terminals when the key is turned to START. No voltage from solenoid to starter motor.

5. Many transmitters make a clicking noise when I rotate each arm and insert the key to start.

Safety Switch/wiring Issue

I submitted a listing last week and the site said it needed to be admin approved. Does anyone know how to get the admin to approve the post?

Maybe the brake switch again. The system works great. With all switches in “neutral”, +12v is allowed to flow through the starter solenoid; But the ground on the solenoid is switched by the brake switch. The brake switch is a known failure point on older Z100s.

Tell your neighbor to call their Kubota dealer and ask them to give the Kommander a confidence boost. Most Kubota owners have received or will receive a letter indicating this. This fixes the brake switch problem and also frees up many other problems including transportation.

Trust me, you can’t beat this free solution. I did a few of these and he was very involved and very involved and successful when the boat failure etc. was repeated. Be careful, some merchants don’t want to do it because of the time it takes. Find another dealer. You’d be silly not to like them, because Kubota pays the dealer handsomely to do it. Although out of warranty, Kubota will pay for this campaign. Ask the dealer for the serial number and you’ll know what works and what doesn’t. The ad is actually 5 or 6 repairs that can be done if they haven’t been done before, mostly preventative, but some worth it! Those mowers are pretty good, but apparently they have some problems, and Kubota is stepping up to fix them. But from what I understand, this program only lasts for a while. And don’t wait until mid-autumn to do it.

The brake switch itself has been replaced with a new style switch, which also includes a change in mounting cross section.

I spent a lot of time drawing colored lines on wiring diagrams trying to understand the circuit.

I noticed that there are two flyback diodes. I have marked them #1 and #2 in this image.

#1 is in series with the starter solenoid. If it burns out, no power is delivered to the solenoid.

The owner had a multimeter so he found the diodes and did a simple continuity test in one direction and it did not change continuity with the pole of the multimeter leads.

If this machine has a campaign, it makes more sense that we all know about the system.

How To Replace The Electric Clutch On A Zero Turn Riding Mower

ZG electrical systems are complex and as I said before, it is very important to make a campaign to change the brakes immediately because it will solve your problem very well.

I know you are looking for an easy answer to get rid of your frustration, but unless you have a lot of experience in following the logic of the startup system and the operation presence system, you are going to go crazy.

Thank you all for the great advice. East
